The Give Me an A Literacy Project

Summer Literacy Program at the Pflugerville Library Helps Kids Stay on Track

Give Me an A Literacy Project Hosts Free Program for Students in Entering Grades 1-3

It's summertime at the Pflugerville Library! The library is offering several free programs for students during their summer break, including the Give Me an A Literacy Project's Summer Literacy Program!

The Give Me an A Literacy Project will present a week-long literacy program for students entering 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. The program will be held from Monday, June 11th through Friday, June 15th from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The Pflugerville Library is located at 1008 W. Pfluger Street, Pflugerville, TX 78660. The contact number is 512.990.6375.

One of the most important activities for students to continue during the summer months is reading and writing in order to avoid losing their gains in literacy.  Our program includes TEKS-centered reading, writing, and communications activities that support and reinforce language arts lessons that students have learned during the school year.

Registration begins June 1, 2018!  Click here to register your student online. Space is limited and filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.

For more information about this program and other programs the library, visit the website of the Pflugerville Library or follow them on Facebook for events and updates at the library.

We look forward to serving your children this summer!
